CULTURE NIGHT & CATALOGUE LAUNCH

Join us for Culture Night, and a tour from the Cotton Library at St Carthage’s Cathedral, where you will hear about this rarely seen collection of books, to Lismore Castle, to take in the Rashid Johnson exhibition and the official launch of the catalogue.

Free admission - please call to confirm places on tour. Places limited at St Carthage’s Cathedral. 058 54061. The tour begins at the Cathedral at 7pm.

LECTURE - KATE BRINDLEY & CHARLES NOBLE

THURSDAY 15TH NOVEMBER, 7.30PM

Join Kate Brindley (Director of Exhibitions, Chatsworth House) and Charles Noble (Curator, Collections Documentation, Chatsworth), for a history of the restoration of Lismore Castle through photographs by Francis Edmund Curry and watercolours by Samuel Cooke. The lecture will be interspersed with letters and anecdotes from the time of the restoration held at the archives in Chatsworth House.

WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP

WEDNESDAY 5TH DECEMBER, 10.30AM - 1PM or 2.30PM - 5PM

Join the garden team for a hands-on festive workshop - choose either a morning or afternoon session. Construct and decorate your own Christmas Wreath using foliage from the Castle Gardens. Materials will be provided. Mulled wine and seasonal treats included.
